Why hello there – thanks for stopping by!
See that happy face over there? That's me! Translator, editor and English trainer with over 15 years of experience (I know, I don’t look a day over thirty, right?!).
I’m your go-to person if you want to have your German content translated into beautiful, flowing English, or if you’ve already written something in English but it needs a bit of a polish. Or maybe you feel like you need a bit of a polish when it comes to speaking English! I will give you the confidence you need to walk into a room and feel like your native you – in my mother tongue.

I moved to Munich from the UK back in 2010. Not knowing anyone in the city, I came across the strangely wonderful ToyTown Germany forum and started a regular meetup with fellow female expats, a community I’m still honoured to have around me today. I’ve done and learned a lot since moving here – I re-learned how to ride a bike (cycle lanes weren't really a thing in the UK when I was growing up), I saw mountains for the first time, I walked into a boulder hall for the first time, I even learned to ski for the first time!
Fast forward to 2025 – I've now cycled over the Alps twice, I love hiking in the mountains and swimming in the lakes, and I go bouldering every week – twice weekly if possible. I've also learned that skiing is absolutely not for me (though I'm highly skilled at looking after gear and sipping lumumba).
